Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is your service area?
We consider any location within 40 km from central Nambour as part of the Sunshine Coast and within the Pilates Fix service area. The Brisbane service area doesn't include Ipswich or Logan, don't hesitate to get in touch with us for questions about your area.
2. How does the minimum service duration work with the amount of equipment in my studio?
You have two options:
- Hourly-based service: We will rotate our service around different equipment each visit while keeping detailed records. 2 hours minimum.
- Equipment-based service: We will service a set number of equipment, and you will be invoiced based on the actual time taken.
3. What happens if a part needs replacement during a cleaning service?
If we identify a part that needs replacement during a cleaning service, we will call you for approval before proceeding with the replacement. It is best to have parts on hand for this purpose.
4. How many staff members attend each service?
Most services are completed by one Pilates Fix team member.
For larger bookings (more than 15 reformers), two team members will attend.
5. Are prices inclusive of GST?
No, all prices are exclusive of GST. The final invoice will include GST.
6. What is the Booking Fee?
The booking fee secures your appointment and must be paid within 24 hours of booking.
The booking fee is non-refundable but can be transferred to a rescheduled booking.
7. Do you clean up after the service?
Yes, cleaning is included in the service:
Any marks made during servicing will be cleaned.
Equipment will be returned to its original position.
The floor will be vacuumed or swept using the studio’s cleaning equipment.
8. Do you provide cleaning products and lubricants?
Yes, Pilates Fix supplies all cleaning products and uses manufacturer-recommended products.
9. What about replacement parts?
We can use the studio’s own spare parts, or
We can supply parts at an additional cost.
10. What is your Cancellation Policy?
More than 72 hours before the service → The booking fee is non-refundable, but no additional charges apply.
24–72 hours before the service → You will be invoiced for 60% of the minimum service amount. The booking fee remains non-refundable and is not included in this amount.
Less than 24 hours before the service → You will be invoiced for 100% of the minimum service amount. The booking fee remains non-refundable and is not included in this amount.
